Sex in the city!

Image
Well last night I watched the DVD, Sex in the City. I was meant to watch it a few nights ago with pizza and pop corn, but the evening ended up being a discussion evening which I enjoyed greatly!  Anyway, last night I settled down in a darken room, clutching a nice warm cuppa, and started to watch the DVD.  The overall story line was very good, and I enjoyed the turmoils that each of the characters endured and how they helped each other in times of needs. Especially enjoyed the New Year's Eve bit, thats what true friends would have done!. I must say, however, that I was pleased I was watching it by myself, since the 'porn' scenes were rather vivid! and expicit! I was totally shocked by this, and can't really remember anything like this in the original series. Although I might just being naive about that. Really liked the characters and how they interacted with each other and was impressed my the filming, and the outfits and the sets, It surely must have had a huge budg...

A further testing....photos

Image
Hey there,  Well I continue to test this Posterous site out to see how it operates. Sorry to all you guys that have to put up with yet another testing post! I heard from Posterous this morning telling me that they don't support MarsEdit, yet, which is a shame since I really like that program for typing my blogs up into. I especially like the way I can add my photos from either iphoto or direct from flickr. Often I take snaps from the web using Little Snapper then upload these to Flickr so I can then just add them to my posts using the MarsEdit insert photo widget. Now that I am typing my blog posts in gmail, I am going to try and add a few images to see how they attach from the various locations. This first one, I have just attached as an attachement Now this next one, I have added as a link to flickr   Finally this is one that I have added using HTML from Marsedit, to see what it looks like;   Let's see how this goes....have fun! IPhone employee

Just sat in starbucks reading my iCreate magazine when I come across an article a out an employee who threw himself out of his apartment window because he had lost a prototype of a new iPhone. This really shocked me. Surely the secrecy about Apple products is not much that he felt he had to kill himself. I guess they are waiting for a. Investigation to discover exactly what happened. Just thought if was a really tragic event to happen over a phone.  Sent from my iPhone Posted via email from inwils's posterous

posterous and flickr

Has you might have realised from my last post I have been trying to decide which blogging tool to use for my photos as I take them. I've been out and about today, and I thought that I would try using Posterous to post my photos to and see how they get auto posted to flickr. I decided to use PicPosterous to see how that manages them as well. I really liked the way I could set up an album for the day and how this is then created in Posterous, a nice little slideshow view where people can see the photos from the whole day. (seen here http://inwils.posterous.com/today-830 ). It looks good and I think its a good way for the viewers to glance at all the photos that I been taken. I also really like the way that the photos automatically go into the album (unless you request that they go somewhere esle) so that all the photos you take at an event or during one day go together. One problem that I can see is that the album gets published onto Posterous when the first photo is taken, and af...

Posterous : Should I use this site?

Well I have been playing with this site for a while and downloaded the new Picposterous App for the iphone as well, and I am currently to the point of thinking whether or not to use this site and if I do how I will use it. Initially the idea is a great one, I post one comment and it goes to all my blogs, media sites and everything is done and dusted. However, as I look into it further it does concern me that I like to know where everything is on the net and it is important, because that's how my brain works, that I compartmentalise my items into their corretc and appropriate boxes. For examples, Twitter is definitely my choice of micro blogging, I like the way it is easy to enter from either Tweetdeck or Tweetie and that I can just post random or replies on the move and when I am stationary at home. These items I don't really need to keep and very rarely look back on them at all, and so twitter suits the purpose. I dont think I will use posterous to post to my twitter. I hav...
