Well another summer is over
It always amazes me how quickly the summer holidays go. It seems like only yesterday that I was closing my classroom door and heading away from the school thinking, thats the last you will see of me for seven weeks.
And now I sit typing this, ready to go back to work tomorrow.
I always enjoy my break from work, and I have learnt over the past twenty years that I have been teaching that I gain or achieve something from my time off work. This allows me to look back over the break with a sense of achievement. So I thought I would just quickly survey the fruits of my break. 1) inwils.co.uk is up and running, its not perfect, but I am pleased that I have managed to get this coded and running, lots still to do but its done. 2) Spent time with my family, especially my niece. 3) To sort out my work ethic, using Omni focus and inbox zeroing to help and hopefully maintain a better organisation and work life balance. 4) To get my warlock to 80th on World of Warcraft, nothing immense but an achievement in any case 5) To have a good rest Well perhaps I should have had more to achieve but that's it. Seven weeks until Christmas Holidays, so I hope to keep blogging before then...here's hoping that the work and life balance is correct. Have fun!
