Vampire or Werewolf

Although I know I am a little behind the times I am currently listening to the second book in what I call the Twilight series. As ibwalked home this lunch time Bella was having an internal conflict with her friends. Who should she choose vampire or werewolf? Ofcourse her own view was that she shouldn't have to make that choice and that both parties should be able to coexist together in harmony. However at the momentthe choice has to be made. Two things sprung to mind as I thought about this dilemma. Initially, if I had the choice which would I go with being friends with a vampire or a werewolf. Both bring their own elements of danger. Hoping that the thirst for blood is kept under control or hope that you never get into a big argument. In the e d indecided I would go with the vampire only because I am not keen on dogs and I didn't fancy cleaning up any accidents that might occur from a werewolf since I am pretty sure they are not house trained.
It also made be think that the book cleverly mirrors real life since there can often come a time when two groups of friends only have one thing in common which is yourself and really neither would actually communicate if they didn't have a commonality in yourself. I guess this is where Bella's thoughts come in that both should in fact learn to mix and be friends together. I know vampires and werewolves don't exist but it is interesting how the book can delicate real life. Hopefully the conflict between groups of friends is only thing it mirrors since I would hate to wake up with a werewolf in my bed tomorrow!
So what would you choose to live with a werewolf or a vampire, answers below please
