I have confidence in...

I started to watch, although I never finished, the film Catwoman this afternoon. It is a good film, and what I saw I enjoyed. My favourite bit in the film is when Patience goes back to the cat woman and the latter tells her how she has gained the powers of a cat after being chosen by the cat Midnight. One of the powers Patience as gained is supreme confidence.

It is very true, and anyone who has a cat will recognise this, that cats have great confidence in themselves. The way they enter a room as if they are the most important thing there. The way they consider that everything in the room actually belongs to them and they have the right to sleep where ever they want. I think most of us would crave for that sort of confidence in our lives.

However its interesting that sometimes, actually quite often, you do see and encounter people who have that sort of confidence.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to actually have that confidence.

The confidence not to worry or care what others think or say about you. The confidence to have total belief in your own point of view and to be able to express it with total conviction to others.

I am not sure whether confidence like that is gained through self belief of by the attention and constant boosting by others, but it is something that I think everyone, including myself, would like to achieve.
Back to work tomorrow for another week, what will the week hold I wonder...well what ever it holds I am going to try to tackle it with improved confidence.
